MSC London is a social club for GBQ+ men “into fetish wear including leather, rubber, uniforms, skinhead, sportswear and denim”. It opened in 1973 at a room above a pub in Earls Court, London and moved to Covent Garden during the 1980s. The name MSC, or Motor Sport Club, was used as a code to avoid anti-LGBTQIA discrimination and for the safety of members. MSC London continues today as London Leatherman having been renamed in 2016.
