The Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) is an organisation which campaigns for the UK to disarm and dispose of their nuclear weapons. They also campaign for international nuclear disarmament, and oppose the building of nuclear power stations in the UK, and oppose the use of chemical or biological weapons in wars. CND was founded in 1957 and is Europe's largest peace campaign. Trident is a part of the UK's nuclear weapons arsenal.
