Cyril H. Potter was a Conservative Party electoral candidate. This postcard indicates on the back that it is from his candidacy in Salford North in 1910, however he also stood in Middleton in 1906. Both attempts were unsuccessful. Potter was born in 1877, and was a highly decorated soldier.
