Description
A sticker drawn in red. Four clenched fists rise below a red flag with white writing which says 'Fight for a New Normal!' Below the raised fists is the continued message in red 'For an ecological society beyond capitalism and the state'.

The sticker is made by the Autonomous Design Group and was adapted from designs by Atelier Populaire (Popular Workshop) created in May 1968. The message is agitating for people to move away from capitalist systems which encourage ceaseless consumption and resource usage that can hasten climate change. This sticker was found stuck to a display at People's History Museum, and added to our collection.

The Autonomous Design Group is an a design collective using art to protest against authoritarianism and capitalism, and the crises which can be attributed to these systems, like climate change and poverty. The ADG argues 'Art should not be used to prop up the system, it should be used to enforce political change. There is no point in art if it sits inside galleries and social media is only a tool - he streets are the real galleries of the people'.
