Green parties throughout the world have used the sunflower symbol as part of their logos, which features on the front cover. The leaflet includes the Pary's ten point action programme and a form to join or donate to the Green Party. A notes section includes handwritten details about an area meeting in Preston.
The Green Party was founded as the PEOPLE Party in 1972, renamed to the Ecology Party in 1975, then renamed again in 1985 to its longstanding, current name. This leaflet was produced in 1985 to raise awareness of the rebrand.
