Description
A poster featuring six people of different skin tones under the slogan 'Let's Beat Racism Together'.

The poster was produced in 1984 by the General London Council (GLC) as part of an anti-racism campaign. The reference to 'Keep GLC' relates to the Thatcher government's plan to abolish the Greater London Council. The council was run by left wing Labour Party politician Ken Livingstone, who's policies were in direct opposition to the government's. The politically motivated abolition of the GLC took place in 1985.
