Leaflet titled "Bruce Kent's Long March" describing a planned 500 mile march between 30th June and 6th August that Bruce Kent undertook, walking from Faslane nuclear submarine base in western Scotland to a nuclear warhead factory in Burgfield, Berkshire. The leaflet describes his reasons for wanting to undertake the march, and asks for sponsorships. The logos of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) and War on Want are displayed at the bottom of the page. The reverse is a sponsorship form.


CND is an organisation that campaigns for peace and for governments around the world to demilitarise and discard existing and new nuclear weapons programmes. Bruce Kent was general secretary of CND from 1980 to 1985, and its chair from 1987 to 1990.
