Round white badge, "Save Steel Save Corby" in red and black text, beside a cartoon illustration of a bucket pouring red molten steel. In 1979 almost half of the working population of Corby were employed by the British Steel Corporation. The Corby steelworks closed in 1980 following the national steel strike.
