Round blue badge with white text "Against Tyranny in Greece - ??????????? ["Democracy" in Greek]". In the centre is a white triangle outline. This badge is likely from the 1960s or 1970s. From 1967 to 1974 Greece was ruled by the Regime of the Colonels, following a military coup. Army officer George Papadopoulos declared himself Prime Minister and President, and his dictatorship was characterised by anti-communist policies, restrictions on civil liberties, and imprisonment of political opponents.
