Blair Peach was a New Zealand teacher, killed during an anti-racism demonstration in Southall London. Peach had been present at a demonstration against the National Front when he was hit in the head by a member of the Special Patrol Group, a specialist unit within the Metropolitan Police Service. He died in hospital later that night.
