Photo postcard showing Jose Cazorla sat at a desk, posed as though to write on the document in front of him. The reverse of the postcard has a crest with the wording "JUNTA DELEGADA DE DEFENSA DE MADRID | DELEGACTION DE PROPAGANDA Y PRENSA". Series D Number 4. The postcard is has a hole at the top where it has been pinned for display.
Likely created during the Spanish Civil War. Jose Cazorla was a Spanish Communist leader, and was a leader of the Unified Socialist Youth. The postcard notes that he was in charge of 'Orden Publico' (public order), where he weeded out sabotage/subversion.
