Description
A blue sash with white stripes as well as metallic embroidery and metal details. The ground fabric is warp-faced, with silk warps forming the pattern of blue with white border stripes and blue cotton weft. Gold coiled metallic thread embroidery reads âT & GWU // Poplar No1 Branch // 1/28,â with an embroidered design showcasing two hands clasped in a handshake below. This design is made with the same coiled metallic thread embroidery as the text, with black thread used to create the outline of the fingers. Below this is another coiled metallic thread embroidery design, two leafy branches. On the underside of the bottom layer is a 35mm x 15mm black tag with yellow embroidered text: âGEORGE TUTILL // 83 CITY RD LONDON,â surrounded by a decorative border.
