Description
Home made Brexit Party rosette worn with the Nigel Farage costume. The structure of the rosette is made from an oversized birthday badge, which has crepe paper selotaped to the front to make a rosette. A cardboard circle in the middle has the Brexit Party logo printed on to it. Two crepe paper ribbons come down from the back of the rosette.
Used during the 2019 Conservative Party leadership election, when Boris Johnson and Jeremy Hunt were the two final leadership candidates. Best for Britain commissioned the creation of Nigel Farage's head and fully working marionette puppets of the two candidates, to demonstrate that Farage was controlling the national debate around Brexit. The papier mache head was worn by a performer on stilts, who was also wearing a tweed coat and Brexit Party rosette. Worn on 23.07.2019
