Description
Sash for the Amalgamated Stevedore Labour Protection League, BR No 5 T. A blue sash with white border stripes and silver metallic detailing. Metallic lettering and detailing have been hand stitched to the ground fabric, reading âASLPLâ with a design of two hands clasped together, âBR No 5 T.â Hand-stitched to the sash below the lettering is a 95mm x 100mm x 30mm embroidered design of an 8-pointed star filled with metal sequins and coiled metallic threads. A wine-colored silk dome in the centre is also embroidered with coiled metallic threads. A tassel (60mm long) has been attached to the bottom point of the star which hangs freely from the design.
