Description
A ceramic plate featuring an image of a coal miner breaking the ropes that bind him. Words around the coal miner read: GREED, SCAB, LEADERS, SELF INTEREST. This plate was produced to comemmorate the 1984-85 Miners Strike and in particular, 'the Dirty Thirty', a group of miners from Leicester who went on strike despite the Leicestershire leadership's lack of support for the strike and refusal to participate.
