A small banner/bannerette in a 'V' shape, made from blue rayon material (the same material used to make the Rose Queen's dress of that year). The banner is embroidered with the letters 'F.W' for Frances Williams, who was crowned Rose Queen in Manchester in 1938. A photograph shows a girl carrying the banner during the Rose Queen festival.
