A farmer representing the politician Daniel O'Connell, at a cross roads with two pigs, one named moral Force, other Physical Force. The crossroads sign points To Repeal.

The print was created by Richard Doyle in 1846. The farmer in this print is Daniel O'Connell, an Irish Nationalist leader and radical MP who signed the first Charter. His two pigs represent the 'Moral Force' and 'Physical Force' wings of Chartism. O'Connell was allied with the Chartists and faced the same strategic difficulties.
