Description
Steve Bell produced this print as a commission for People's History Museum's 2000-2001 exhibition 'Hung Drawn and Caricatured'. He depicts well known prints in our collection and adds cartoon images of Margaret Thatcher as an Admiral and John Major hanging by his underwear. His pen is pricking each of the cartoons within the work, and it is intending to show connections between modern political satire and that from previous centuries.
