Throughout history people have used songs to help express their ideas. Join us for this brand new musical taster session for an introduction to the ukulele, make some noise and sing some songs!
By the end of this half hour session with singer-songwriter Matt Hill (Quiet Loner), you will have learnt three key chords to play a protest song together as a group, and created a tune of your very own.
Ukuleles provided, though you are welcome to bring your own.
Family Friendly activity, suitable for 7-11, no prior experience required
This event is not suitable for group bookings
Part of PHM’s year long programme exploring the past, present and future of protest, marking 200 years since the Peterloo Massacre; a major event in Manchester’s history, and a defining moment for Britain’s democracy.
