The history of Britain is one of constant migration, in and out, and the recent refugee crisis is not a new concept. But where are these stories reflected in PHM’s main galleries?
Join a Radical Late evening with PHM’s Community Programme Team as they launch Migration: a human story, a series of new interventions installed throughout the museum’s main galleries, challenging PHM and our visitors to rethink what they know about migration.
Expect a thought provoking evening, challenging you to reconsider common misconceptions and stereotypes, meet new people and celebrate migration through food and music.
With support from Art Fund and The Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust.
Suitable for all ages.
Please note the museum is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Part of PHM’s programme exploring migration, co-created by a Community Programme Team made up of people whose lives have been shaped by migration.
