An exciting day of stalls, activities, talks and protest songs celebrating International Women’s Day.

How far have disabled women’s representations come?  
Screening and discussion of Little Cog’s Hen Night; a short film based on the ideas of Vici Wreford-Sinnott and Frances Ryan.  Introduced by PHM Community Curator Alison Wilde.

1.45pm
Disabled Women, Austerity and Activism
A talk by PHM steering group member Heather Davidson exploring the impact of austerity on disabled women and their role in campaigning for change.

2.30pm
Protest music performance from LGBTQI disabled activist Mx Dennis Queen.

This event has been created in partnership with members of our Nothing About Us Without Us Steering Group who are helping to shape PHM’s Nothing About Us Without Us exhibition (Wed 16 November 2022 – Mon 16 October 2023) and 2022 programme, which will explore disabled people’s rights, activism and fight for inclusion.
