People’s History Museum is joining 133 libraries across Greater Manchester to take part in the Look for a Book challenge 2025 as part of Festival of Libraries.
Hidden around the galleries will be copies of Dame Maggie Aderin-Pocock’s book Am I Made of Stardust? Follow the clues and see if you are lucky enough to make a discovery in this game of finders keepers.
Space scientist Dame Maggie Aderin-Pocock was the first Black woman to win a gold medal in the Physics News Award, has been a CBeebies presenter, and has been honoured with her own Barbie Doll in recognition of her work to promote science careers to girls.
During your visit to the museum you can also take part in Half term mini books, big stories in the Playful Protest Space. This free activity marks the 90th anniversary of Penguin Books and is also part of the Festival of Libraries.
The Festival of Libraries celebrates the role that Greater Manchester Libraries play in their communities and is organised by Manchester City of Literature.
