Join us at the weekend or October half term/Christmas holidays for a FREE craft activity to make your own yarn bomb.
Yarn bombing is a creative form of protest that covers public objects in colourful knits. These eye catching surprises can help to bring awareness to an important issue.
Have a go at weaving a simple knit to attach to a picture of an object commonly found to be yarn bombed, maybe a post-box, bench or tree trunk.
Use the easy-to-use templates for large ‘looms’ and thread with scraps of fabric.
For more of a challenge use the templates for smaller ‘looms’ and thread with wool.
Family Friendly activity, suitable for ages 5 -12 (under 16s must have an accompanying adult).
