A day of talks exploring and celebrating LGBT+ histories for OUTing the Past Festival. As part of People’s History Museum’s (PHM) programme exploring disabled people’s activism, the event will focus on how disabled people have influenced LGBT+ history and the fight for LGBT+ rights.
OUTing the Past is an international celebration of LGBT+ history that takes place throughout the year, and across the world.

12:30pm – 1.15pm: A Brief History of LBBTQ+ Campaigning and Gays Against H-Block
1.30pm – 2.00pm: Tacked On: Outing intersex history
2.30pm – 3.00pm: And it happened in Manchester – The First National Conference of Disabled Lesbians and Gay Men
3.15pm – 3.45pm: AccSEXibility – a curious look at how disabled people have been erased from erotica, sexuality and anything kinky
