Storytelling is a superpower!  It helps us connect with each other, explore our imaginations, and view the world in different ways.

Be inspired by the books around you and the stories told in the museum to discover your superpower:

• Spin the dice on the story generator to spark your imagination.
• Peer into the emotions mirror and use your face, body, or voice to express different feelings.
• Bring your story to life using puppets and props.
• Settle down at a storytelling station to share your adventure with friends and family.

Family Friendly, suitable for ages 0-10 (under 12s must have an accompanying adult).

Part of Manchester City of Literature’s Festival of Libraries (10-14 June 2026), a programme of celebratory activities taking place across Greater Manchester’s entire library network.
