Join a guided tour of the Re/Assemble exhibition exploring the 1988 Section 28 protest in Manchester, featuring specially commissioned artwork responding to its legacy.
As a warm up to Manchester Village Pride (28-31 August), discover the city’s queer history with a particular focus on protest, and the unexpected ways in which Manchester people have fought to liberate LGBTQIA+ lives.
The tour is led by a member of IAP:MCR who curated the Re/Assemble exhibition; IAP:MCR is a Manchester based arts organisation that creates and presents work across the visual and performing arts by artists who identify as queer.
