People’s History Museum is joining galleries, libraries, archives and museums across Greater Manchester to march in this year’s Pride Parade.
For the first time in Manchester Pride’s history, institutions from across Greater Manchester’s cultural sector are marching together in the Manchester Pride Parade. Entered as Greater Manchester GLAM (galleries, libraries, archives and museums), 14 institutions responsible for collecting and maintaining cultural heritage materials in the public interest will join together for the historic march, beginning at midday on Saturday 23 August. These collecting institutions preserve and make Greater Manchester’s cultural assets accessible to the public.
Support us!
We’d love you to come out and show your support for the GLAM entry at Manchester Pride 2025! The theme this year is The Love Parade – so if you love your local gallery, library, archive or museum, find a spot along the route, and give us a cheer.
