What’s the story?
Meet ‘the Palace of Westminster’ in a fun story telling activity! You will find out all about the history of the Houses of Parliament and some of the important events that have happened there.
But the Palace of Westminster is really old and needs to be repaired. We need your help!
What’s your solution?
Using brick shaped pieces of paper, we will build our ideas, thoughts and drawings to a large-scale outline of the Palace of Westminster. Perhaps you think the Houses of Parliament need to be more environmentally friendly or you might think that we need to make it easier for people to visit. We want to hear all your ideas!
Your thoughts and pictures will be shared with the Restoration and Renewal programme, the people making plans to restore the palace, so they know what children and young people think about the future of the building.
