The Left Bank cafe bar is due to reopen in early 2021. 

A picnic area in the large and airy Engine Hall space is available for visitors bringing their own food and drink.

The Left Bank cafe bar is due to reopen in early 2021.

For breakfast, lunch, or if you're on the go, pop in and enjoy hand-crafted coffees, seasonal British cuisine or glass of wine or craft beer on Manchester's sunniest riverside terrace.

  • Grab & Go daily options include freshly prepared sandwiches, boxed salads & fruit pots
  • Daily soup, stew & special (available every day, 12.00pm – 2.00pm)
  • Made to order sandwiches, paninis & jacket potatoes (available Mon – Fri, 12.00pm – 2.00pm)
  • Cakes & scones freshly made everyday
  • Vegetarian, vegan & gluten free options always available
  • Hot drinks include Americano, cappuccino, latte, flat white, English breakfast tea & hot chocolate
  • Cold drinks include made to order smoothies, soft drinks & water
  • Alcoholic drinks include craft beer, bottled craft beers & wine by the glass
  • Visitors are welcome to bring their own reusable coffee cups to enjoy a hot drink
  • Free water is available


The hot food on offer changes daily, so give the cafe a call on 0161 834 4876 on the day if you wish to plan ahead.  Please note there is a limited offer available at weekends.
