Are you social media savvy with a passion for history?

People’s History Museum (PHM) are looking for an enthusiastic, bright, self-motivated individual to join the charity in Manchester as an Apprentice (Digital Marketing & Fundraising) in the Business Development Team.

PHM is the national museum of democracy, telling the story of its development in Britain: past, present, and future.  It is the home of ideas worth fighting for, working to shape a future where ideas of democracy, equality, justice and co-operation are thriving.

As an Apprentice with PHM you will gain skills and experience in fundraising and business development whilst working towards a digital marketing qualification to progress your career.

This will be a varied and challenging role and with digital marketing one of the fastest growing sectors in Britain, prospects upon completion are very promising!

Requirements:

  • A-C English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
  • A passion for history and digital marketing

 

Deadlines for entry: Friday 12 July 2019 at 5.00pm

 

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a selection day on Wednesday 21 August 2019 (revised from 17 July 2019) where the lucky apprentice will be chosen.  If you are selected, you will be expected to start your apprenticeship in late August 2019 (revised from late July 2019).  Please mark clearly on your application if you will be unavailable to attend the selection day on Wednesday 21 August 2019 and we will consider you for future selection days.

Please note: The Juice Academy will recruit a number of apprentices to start in August 2019 and while you’re applying for a position with PHM, you may be placed in a different, equally exciting role in a different organisation as part of the programme.
