Engagement Assistant

£18,933
Permanent Full time, 35 hours

People’s History Museum’s (PHM) engagement work is unique and diverse.   From innovative co-curated exhibitions to award winning Family Friendly programmes, the museum delivers high quality, inclusive and creative experiences for new and existing audiences.

We’re looking for an organised and enthusiastic administrator to work with and support all elements of the engagement programme.  You will provide integral assistance to the team by supporting the smooth running of events and workshops, monitoring figures, arranging group bookings, and editing/producing resources.  You do not need any previous experience for this role, and will be fully trained.

Working closely with colleagues across the Engagement Team, primarily supporting the Learning Officers you will collaborate with staff across the museum to ensure the smooth delivery of PHM’s engagement offer.

We recognise we currently under-represent Black people and People of Colour, disabled, and LGBTQ+ people and those with intersecting identities in our workforce.  PHM is actively working to address this and we particularly encourage applications from these backgrounds.

For enquiries relating to the post, please contact Charlie Corkin, Executive Support Officer, charlie.corkin@phm.org.uk
