Event | May Day Makers Markets

Shop local, grab a sustainable lunch and enjoy pop up entertainment that includes live music from the Halle Community Choir and a talk and book signings from graphic novelists, the Rickard Sisters.

Try out a craft or learn new skills with our talented makers, craft workers, indie shops and cultural creators.  Each day there will be a choice of bookable workshops, hosted by the makers.

The museum galleries will be open all weekend with a choice of trails and drop in gallery tours.

Open Kitchen will be offering a range of hot and cold drinks, lunch and snacks until 4.00pm.

• No booking required, drop in event
• Workshops will be bookable via Eventbrite and non-refundable. All proceeds will support both the maker and museum.
• 20 minute guided mini-tours of the museum (11.00am, 2.00pm & 3.00pm) – £5.00 per person. Bookable on the day at the Info Desk.
