This special evening celebrates the spirit of Manchester Pride at PHM, with activities taking place throughout the museum for all to enjoy.

Queer history is embedded throughout the museum and on this special evening you can also:

Take a LGBTQIA+ mini tour of the museum’s galleries. Tours available throughout the evening.
Join a Q&A about curating the museum’s LGBTQIA+ collections with Collections Assistant Jaime Starr. Starts at 7.00pm (25 minutes).
Make your own Pride placard to take home (all materials provided).
Explore the 2025 Banner Exhibition featuring three beautiful LGBTQIA+ banners. This includes the original Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners (LGSM) banner (1984) which featured in the 2014 film ‘Pride’.
Pick up a Pride Trail sheet from reception and spot the Pride flags placed around the galleries.
Shop our collection of items inspired by LGBTQIA+ stories and the battle for equality in PHM shop, where all purchases support the museum.

This is a sober space event – only soft drinks available.

Suitable for all ages (under 12s must have an accompanying adult).
