The North West’s most exciting young MCs, producers, instrumentalists, vocalists and spoken word artists take to the stage at this Radical Late for an explosive live performance of original music, created during a five day residency at PHM.
Taking inspiration from the museum’s Disrupt? Peterloo and Protest exhibition, residency artists will explore how music can be used as a powerful tool for protest, resistance and liberation – past, present and future – under the artistic guidance of Balraj Samrai from Manchester’s award winning Swing Ting party and record label.
Suitable for all ages
Part of PHM’s year long programme exploring the past, present and future of protest, marking 200 years since the Peterloo Massacre; a major event in Manchester’s history, and a defining moment for Britain’s democracy.
