Orators have been at the forefront of every important reform movement for centuries.

From delivering speeches to individual conversations, their techniques show us how to advocate for ourselves, and others, and forge connections with each other.

In this unique workshop, you will:

  • work with a creative practitioner who will share their tips for overcoming nerves and connecting with your listener
  • experiment with different writing and performance techniques used by historical and contemporary speakers
  • take part in group work that promotes peer support and active listening

This workshop was made possible with Art Fund support.
