The specific techniques being introduced and topics being explored will be shared with participants in advance of each session so you can gather materials and equipment you might want to use.
Participants can bring their own sewing projects to work on while watching and listening, or switch on their cameras and microphones to join in the conversation.
This is a workshop for all textile abilities, whether participants are new to textiles or have been stitching for years – all are welcome to join in!

This month join artist Helen Mather to explore migration and textiles, inspired by the 2020 – 2021 Banner Exhibition on display at the museum. Try out different techniques, and create and share textile responses to the topics discussed.
Part of PHM’s programme exploring migration, co-created by a Community Programme Team made up of people whose lives have been shaped by migration.
