Join this creative workshop for some stitching, chatting, and sharing inspired by the museum’s collections.
Continuing from July’s workshop, this session will focus on the museum’s significant banner collection. The display of banners changes each year; participants will learn about the process of curating the 2025 Banner Exhibition and take a deeper dive into the meaning and relevance of the banners explored.
In response to these sessions, we will make individual textile pieces reflecting on what the banners mean to us today.
All textile abilities welcome, suitable for 11+ (under 18s must have an accompanying adult).
