This workshop alternates each month between online and onsite.
Inspired by the museum’s 2022 Banner Exhibition, Helen will bring together individual pieces created in previous workshops, into a larger collective patchwork that responds to the theme of migration.
Helen will demonstrate patchwork and quilting techniques, and how to make patterns on fabric using appliqué and drawing in both this online workshop and the following onsite workshop on Saturday 15 October 2022.
All textile abilities welcome, suitable for ages 11+ (under 18s must have an accompanying adult).
Part of PHM’s programme exploring migration, co-created by a Community Programme Team made up of people whose lives have been shaped by migration.
