People’s History Museum (PHM) is wearing its heart on its sleeve to stand Together With Refugees. Along with a coalition of international development charities, grassroot and community organisations, refugee-led groups and cultural institutions it is urging the government to rethink its approach to the Nationality and Borders Bill. Visitors to the national museum of democracy have been sharing their reactions to the Bill on postcards, which will be delivered to the Home Secretary on Valentine’s Day to ask the government to rethink its approach.

Lots of Family Fun awaits at People’s History Museum for February Half Term

This February half term People’s History Museum (PHM) will be rolling out the red carpet for families with lots to love at the national museum of democracy. PHM will be open seven days a week for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic began; there will be plenty of Family Friendly activities to enjoy; Open Kitchen will be serving a special Family Friendly menu and PHM shop will be stocked with Family Friendly ideas to take home.

People’s History Museum urges visitors to join it in standing Together With Refugees

People’s History Museum (PHM) wants the government to rethink its approach to refugees and the changes that are proposed under the Nationality and Borders Bill. It has added its voice to the Together With Refugees coalition, made up of international development charities, grassroots and community organisations, refugee-led groups and cultural institutions who all believe that how we treat refugees is about who we are and that this should be effective, fair and humane.

Join a march through time with People’s History Museum’s 2022 Banner Exhibition

Banners that have appeared as part of groundbreaking moments of protest, banners created to remember those that marched before them and the role of banners in contemporary culture all make up a compelling exhibition that will open to the public on Saturday 29 January 2022 (until Sunday 8 January 2023) at People's History Museum.
